Side rods, drive rods and cross heads are gold plated and inlaid in black. Three red rubies shine as marker lights on the back of the tender. It has, to my knowledge, never been touched by human hands since leaving the factory, nor have the gloves, etc in the beautiful leather case. Comes in a high quality jewel box with white gloves, key, booklet's and a numbered certificate.
This locomotive is a genuine work of art. My apologies for the file photos, but I do not want to take this beauty out of the box for photos. This gold steam locomotive has a body of solid 18 carat gold. This gold locomotive was produced in a one time series only in 1997 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of mini club and was sold out at the factory.
Don't miss out on this gold Marklin. Locomotive wheels have black spokes. It's a very limited production collectible and also a great investment.
It also has been pretested motor runs smooth and light works. Best of the best. All axles powered.
Very rare Marklin z scale 25th anniversary solid gold locomotive. All wheels are gold plated. In addition there are three real faceted diamonds set in white gold as the three headlights on the front of the locomotive.
